Night 2 - "Better When We Walk Together"
In this powerful message, we're reminded of the profound strength found in unity and fellowship within the body of Christ. Drawing from Ecclesiastes 4:9-12, we explore the concept that 'we are stronger together.' The story of the paralyzed man being lowered through the roof to Jesus (Mark 2) serves as a compelling illustration of this truth. We see how faith in action, demonstrated by those who carried their friend, moved Jesus to heal. This narrative challenges us to consider: Are we willing to go to extraordinary lengths to bring others to Christ? Are we ready to 'uncover the roof' of obstacles in our lives and the lives of others to reach Jesus? The message encourages us to persevere in our spiritual walk, reminding us that when we feel we can't go on, God often uses His people to 'grab our corner' and help us keep fighting. It's a call to recognize the value of church community and to actively participate in bearing one another's burdens, fulfilling the law of Christ.
